The challenge
ErcoGroup manufactures and distributes materials and products for dental implants. The company has its own laboratory, a training center and a clinical base. Its visitors are dentists, clinics and distributors, and they choose materials that affect treatment results and patient safety. For this audience, a product showcase with pictures is not enough. The site had to show the science behind the products and speak to professionals in their own terms.
The site also had to hold several roles of the company in one place: production, distribution, research and training. Without a clear structure, the catalog, the articles and the training center compete for attention and confuse the visitor. And because the catalog changes and new articles come out regularly, the company's own staff had to be able to run the site without a developer, with no inquiries lost along the way.
What I built
I built the site on WordPress with a custom theme, so the structure follows ErcoGroup's needs rather than a generic store template. It rests on three pillars: the product catalog, the scientific articles and the inquiry form. The training center and the "about" section link these together and lead visitors toward contacting the company.
All content, from catalog items to articles, is edited from the WordPress admin. Inquiries go through Contact Form 7 with field validation and delivery to the right staff. The project took 1.5 months.
Key features
- Product catalog — implant materials and products grouped by category, with descriptions, specs and images, managed from the admin without code changes.
- Product pages — one consistent template for purpose, properties and use cases, written as an argument for professionals, not a price list line.
- Scientific articles — an editable feed for lab results and professional materials that show the brand's expertise.
- Training center — a section on the company's training programs for specialists, linked to the inquiry form.
- Inquiry form — a Contact Form 7 form for questions about products, training or partnership, with validation and reliable delivery.
- About and research base — the lab, the clinical base and production presented as proof that real research stands behind the products.
- Responsive layout — catalog, product pages and articles stay readable on desktop, tablet and phone.
- Content management — the company's staff publish articles and update the catalog on their own.
